List of Projects and Assignment
Weekly Reading Assignments: Each week reading assignments are due on Mondays. This will help prepare you or in class activities and for homework.
Blog Posts: Each week blog posts are due at midnight. Blog posts should cover a current event, from any topic, from a reliable news source. The current events should be linked back to a concept that we are currently covering. You must also comment on at least two other blog posts, by fellow students, by midnight on Thursdays.
Flipped Classroom Lessons: When Flipped Classroom Lessons are on the calendar, it means that there will be flipped classroom lesson materials posted on this website, under the Flipped Classroom Material Section. The classroom activities the next day will relate to the materials covered in the flipped lesson.
Essay #4: In this 3-5 page essay, explain how the problems and developments of the Gilded Age led into the reform and changes of the Progressive Era. Your essay should cover at least two of the following topics: Labor, Industry, Politics, Edication, Immigration, or Social Issues.
Group Presentation: In class, we will divide into groups of four. Each group will be assigned a different reformer of the Progressive Era and cover their contributions to society during the Progressive Era.
